Matthew Frasca

Matt has been fishing the local waters of Western LIS since his dad and grandpa introduced him to the sport over 30 years ago. He spent his early years casting at Snappers from Rings End Landing in Darien and slowly (but surely) convinced his dad to help him restore an old wooden dinghy. A project that sparked his passion for being out on the open water, and with a broader fishing range, it was at this point where he began to appreciate all of the responsibilities that came with it.

Fishing has offered Matt a way to unplug. A way to bond with best friends and family, and the best medicine after a stressful day at work. It has always been so much more than just a sport or hobby to Matt. Now he is on a mission to give back to the sport what it has given him over all these years.

Matt lives in Darien with his wife Alex, Labrador Dakota, and newborn daughter.
