Lee has been fishing since he could barely hold a fishing rod.  What started out with bobbers and worms in small ponds behind his house quickly turned to biking with friends to larger ponds and throwing artificial bait for largemouth bass.  As he grew older, he turned to the ocean, taking many trips with his father and brother on Long Island Sound chasing blue fish, striped bass, false albacore and bonito.

Growing up next to Long Island Sound, Lee has always had a fascination with the ocean, whether it was collecting crabs on the beach or catching snappers.  When he was younger, his Dad would remind him how scarce striped bass were when he was younger, implanting the importance of sound regulation and conservative management on our fisheries.  The Tightlined Conservation Coalition embodies these ideals, and Lee has been a proud supporter and officer since inception.
