Dave has enjoyed fishing ever since he was a young adolescent. He started a fly fishing focused mentoring program for underprivileged children in New York while in high school called the Aspiring Anglers Project (AAP) and continued it in Ohio while attending Denison college. He has recently re-established AAP in Connecticut where he lives with his wife and son. He has been an active supporter and board member of The Tightlined Conservation Coalition since inception. Amongst his proudest achievements in life is winning the ‘Biggest Bluefish’ category at the 2018 Tightlined Slam, which he plans to defend this fall.
